Lake Charles Transformation

Our clients, lifelong residents of Lake Charles and Baton Rouge, shared a deep connection to their family home built in 1964. Seeking to preserve its mid-century architecture but infusing it with their individual style, they entrusted us with a full-home renovation project. With their love for bold color and all things bespoke driving our inspiration, we crafted every aspect of this family home.

We seized the opportunity to repurpose and reupholster many existing pieces from their Baton Rouge home, which we also designed, along with incorporating their remarkable art collection. Additionally, we integrated custom-designed cabinetry, lighting, rugs, furnishings, and window treatments. This approach struck a perfect balance between time-honored treasures and excitingly new elements. 

It was essential to reflect the individuality of each family member throughout the home’s design. Feminine and glamorous touches adorned the girls’ rooms, while the newly designed home office showcased an eye-catching display of hunting trophies.

With ample space for entertaining their large family, the formal living room dazzles with stunning wallpapered ceilings and striking custom millwork above the fireplace. Meanwhile, custom-painted kitchen cabinets, richly colored countertops, and opulent drapery transformed the kitchen and breakfast nook into a show-stopping yet comforting space, perfect for morning conversation.
